3) these merrells made me feel like an intense outdoorsey girl. which i totally am. (as i type this from inside of a coffee shop, sipping a soy latte, wearing a dress.)

surprisingly, one of the times during camp that i laughed the most was before the campers came, when we were trying to follow some czech ikea directions for what they called a Party Tent. and, today on my list of things to do is to put together an ikea shelf. there's definitely both love and hate in my heart when it comes to ikea.

i am back!

this week i continue the photography teaching journey by doing a class for 10-12 year olds at an art gallery in south pasadena. today i taught them to shoot fully manual. they all now know how to use aperture, ISO and shutter speed. next we worked on exploration, so i took them on a walk and told them they had to take 5 images of things that inspired them. everyone was finished by the time we walked 10 steps out the door. inspiration is everywhere.

today was essentially 3 hours of 'SHANNON---- LOOK LOOK LOOOK LOOK LOOK!"

these types of days make me happier than i ever thought was possible.

sweet lauren and her smart questions and the things her eyes notice.

i loved today.

the showers and bathrooms and cafeteria at camp were at the bottom of this huge hill.

i think i walked up and down it a minimum of 5 times a day. maximum of like....15.

one of the times i was walking to dinner i saw this and stopped for a while to soak it in.

we were at the top of the astronomical clock tower in prague on our tour the city day------- and if i could have watched the world from up high all day i would have.

the wind

the shadows

the miniature world

that piece of paper i saw blowing on the street even though it was just a little pin dot.

it was so fun.

camp is now finished---------------

today is visit prague day-----

i'm so excited!

except for last night i had a dream that i got on the plane and realized i missed all the good stuff, which in my dream, was shopping for shoes.

hopefully that doesn't happen in real life.
