their relationship has strength but also has lots of space.

it seems like they let each other be.
they meld in a really lovely way.
two whole people bringing themselves to be nourishing and lifegiving to the other.
marriage seems like it can be a push and pull, a struggle, a place of tension....
or it can be a place with lots of space.

took one home for cosmo.
the wedding was held in a friend's backyard in stockton, california.
everyone pitched in,
everyone helped,
and kate rocked the world with her skills and her beauty.

i always wished i had glasses.
and curly hair.
rosanna has glasses.
doesn't have curly hair,
but does have AWESOME HAIR.....
and is able to do pretty buns and side-braids.
she's also MORE THAN comfortable in her own skin,
shines as herself in a way that inspires and brings me more freedom.
rosie, you just have an inner confidence that is attractive and sparkley.
love photographing you,
love being with you.
"yeah i didn't get the anti-glare stuff."

their favorite part was the cake.
first thing they told me at their initial fun get-to-know-you meeting.
the part she was looking forward to all day and even talked about as she was getting her makeup done.
"I CANT WAIT FOR THE CAKE."
honestly.....
best cake i've ever had.
cookies and cream....

layers of goodness.

cosmo used to be freaked out of the world,
used to hiss and bite,
used to need LOTS OF PERSONAL SPACE.
these days he steps up onto my finger like its his home.

he loves eggs and is gaining weight, which was a goal.
he used to be a skinny minny.
